Ahoy-hoy peoples. ^_^
So it's 2006. Yay. Pardon my un-enthusiasm, hehehe, but it may not be a great year for me. It's now... 44 hours until my 18th birthday and I'm really not prepared for it.
Couple that with the fact that my computer has been screwing up a lot lately (And no, it's not because of Trojan horse porn downloads... but I wouldn't know -anything- about that.
*Ahem* So no one caught the 500th pageview. *waggles finger* That means no kiriban for strangers. I'm gonna leave the color choices to a select non-random person, whom I will talk to as soon as I can. She likely already knows who she is, though.
Had a fairly eventful Christmas Day. I got about 90 dollars in Walmart gift cards (Does -no one- know what I like?!). Most of that went to new games for the PS2, and I'm enjoying them, especially the challenging ones like Deus Ex: The Conspiracy. Though to be honest, it's not so challenging shooting everything in the head a few times... but that's just me and my excellent case of sniper aiming syndrome. Just in case you don't know what that is, it's the ability to snipe people from 500 meters with a pistol. *beams brilliantly* It only applies to the video games, however, so be glad.
Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel is a fun game. Al is annoying because he gets in the way and is always jumping off of ladders right onto your head... but despite that, it's a very decent game. Beat it the first time, and the second time is harder. Why? Because most of your favorite healing items are replaced by the unlockable movies and concept art. Gahhh...
Dead to Rights 2 is... kinda fun. Having Shadow to bite the jugulars of criminals is awesome to watch, and the slow-mo jumping is kick-ass. Can you say 'Matrix'? However, it's kinda linear and more frustrating to have died for the umpteenth time in the very first mission because everyone learns how to counter your human shield and disarm techniques...
Xenosaga 2: Beyond Good and Evil. Uhh... I'm pretty sure I missed something by not playing the first episode of Xenosaga, buuuuut... this game is quite fun, once you get past the fact that everyone pretty much does the same thing in battle. The E.S.s are, for lack of a better phrase, so awesome looking I almost wet myself in desire for them when I see them.
I also intended to get Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, but I couldn't find it anywhere. T_T I've played it before, and I love that game...
Now for my wishlist/shortnoticebirthdaygiftlist:
~If anyone can find a copy of FF7, -please- tell me where I can get it. I miss that game so much. *sobs*
~About 200 or so dollars so I can go to Florida...
~A gun so I can shoot my mom's annoying dog... I'm kidding about this one, but if you can do it...
~And finally, when it comes out... a PS3 -and- the remake of FF7 set to come out like... next year or somethin'... I can't remember right now.
Yes, I know no one will get any of that for me. T_T I can dream, can't I?
Oh, birthday cards are welcome, by the way.
Dat's all for now. I haven't been looking for an artist to advocate, so just go see...
Um, that's it, I guess. Don't forget to smile!! (Hahaha, that's so cheesy coming from me)
